How to Choose Stage Truss for Your Event

Truss – the key of every great lighting design. Most time,the client is only short budget or the first time to buy the truss or make some test first,then will order the big one a little later.

Here are a few examples of using truss from the basic or cheap to some complicated ones.

Below -basic up lighting. Using LED color blasts , or simple par cans inside the base of ground supported truss. Throw some color up. Cheap , simple and overused , but a decent look for a low budget stage , exhibit area or event decoration.

Below - Another popular look -2sides of Crank stand of ground supported truss. Good for a quick stage set , and it is easier and convenient to install in front of stage,triangle or square truss will be both fine,that depends on the weight of lighting or Audio or speaker.

Truss "covers", "sleeves", "socks" or"skins" made to fit 12" truss. Spandex works as well as polycarbonate or milk silk with lights inside - for a lot cheaper! again , using LED's or a par cans carefully - cans get hot!!) to up light internally,it will make the light more soft or a little magic.

Below-DJ lighting truss,usually a little high and wide truss with connector,the light can put one line and more shining,usually put on indoor used.Most small event will use this type.

Below-exhibit designers know how to use truss aesthetically- usually use more curved truss to make whole design special,our exhibition truss use the heart type,feel the trusses more soft and comfortable,and company take effort to make qualified with deep heart.

Below - Simple and circle truss for roof used.if you need the truss to hang on lights on the roof,if like more beautiful and shine,it can make some color and circle one,one more thing,you can put the light on the truss one time,then lift up the truss on the roof,and light will be more focused on one place.
